I know nobody wants to hear this now, but nobody is buying amrn shares. I keep trying to sell shares but no buyers. I've even put my ask price under the current ask price but still nobody meets price.
I don't want to sell for $4 when they are still selling for $5 but I also don't want to fight and fight to sell for near current price while the current price continues to collapse.
Did anybody think we would be at $5.31 halfway through 2013? This "Go It Alone" effort could bring shares down to the $2 and $1 level and I want to be long gone before I lose everything.
Your first comment is dead wrong. Obviously you could sell your shares easily. I've been selling (and buying) in small lots of 1000 to 2000 shares slowly lowering my overall pps for a while including yesterday. The manipulation going on lends itself to this. Not sure why you can't sell your shares, but there are definitely both buyers and sellers out there............
Your Post to me is so full of holes that it has to be nothing more than Basher nonsense..... Your last line is total BS.
Intelligent posts and Bashers are two mutually exclusive things... You'd have made a good car (or aluminum siding) Salesmen in the good old days ...
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Where have you been !!! I am really enjoying the manipulation (honest) and just keep accumulating. Of course $2 a share is never going to happen, but if I could get shares this cheap I'd be planning for early retirement next year - I'd mortgage my home and buy as many shares as I could get my hands on.
It's history now, but years ago I had an opportunity like this with Comverse Technologies... my Broker then "begged" me to delay buying a home and to use the downpayment to buy more shares instead. I got greedy (was already up a lot - this was a penny stock that shot up to over $100) and sold at about $17 (and only had about $10000 worth at the time). If I had done then what I should have I would have retired early.
Amarin has the same potential now especially because it is starting from such a ridiculously low share price.
Old war story I know.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
the only thing i find to give some relief to the frustration of this decline is to email AMRN IR on a regular basis. i am sure they are never looked at but it does give a temporary opportunity to vent.
AMRN IR is likely in a series of quiet periods. They've got 2Q earnings, then ADCOM, then Anchor. These are all significant binary events and so don't expect a lot of discussion the remainder of the year from IR. If the company stays focused on selling V, and getting FDA approvals, everything will take care of itself if you're long AMRN.
