BUYOUT is the ONLY OPTION for US.....

One thing is buying a stock for investment other is trying to understand the distribution scheme of things....
Amarin is a developmental stage company....not a Pfizer or Astra Zeneca....
They need a BIG partner to take over and market this in a right way....it is obvious that Amarin is already talking with someone out there to take this over....250 sales rep is probably what they suggested start doing your little something till we get the money to complete the deal....
WE NEEd the BUYOUT so if you dont have a clue dont say Amarin can do it by themselves if they try to do that
the stock will take a major dive....
The idea is not having the greatest product in the world it is more Important to have the BEST SALES STRATEGY...if there is slow adoption then the income also will be slow...and that is not beneficial to anyone...really even patients!

    • Amarin could survive and do just fine GIA at least as things stand now. The growth is steady and will definitely reach a critical mass where it will increase a lot more quickly at higher levels. It is of course better for investors short term if they get bought out (or Partner) only because the share price will make a nice jump. For the GIA option that only benefits True Longs (and there are many really - including myself) who don't mind waiting a year or two in which case Amarin will be either be bought out at a higher share price than what they would get now or the share price will be up nicely from where it is now. There will be fluctuations for a while depending on catalysts as always. Key is Amarin will definitely survive and short or long term they will do fine. I don't see the gloom and doom scenario at all. There are too many Institutions and Investors who would buy in if the share price went too low.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

vukken, you are twisted...And you are wrong...Ever hear of the Edsel. a car made by Ford back in the day when GM and Ford were kings. Edsel was the most hyped hyped car in history..going to revolutionise the auto industry...It turned out to be a lemon and that damned near finished Ford...

You also are operating under the misconception that using drug reps paid for by BP is the most effective strategy...You think that because you are not in clinical medicine...Use to be that drug reps could ingratiate themselves with doctors (de facto bribing them) so that if a drug rep could provide Patriot's tickets or a golf junket..naturally you would stay on good terms with them and buy their product if it was not dangerous...That's all history now...Now drug reps are just an aggravating distraction...Very few doctors use drug reps as educational sources as everyone knows they are conflicted...

Right now IMO, AMRN's best strategy is to go it alone...BP has nothing to offer excepts its outstretched palm when the cash starts rolling in...and I for one don't want to share my profits with BFP (Big Fat Pharma)...That means we have to wait a little longer for the payoff, I know that's killing you...but call me greedy.
