It seems we have our own mini-board. The company says they have 5.6M undiluted ADRs out. Diluted that goes up to 9.8m ADRs. That second figure includes all the Elan component, options and the works. At least as far as I can tell.
I agree with Sang that the Swedish operation is the left over Ethical facility. Management states that they have embarked on a program to revitalize the operation through new contracts and development work. Let's hope for a deal or two this year.
Regarding comps, I am somewhat familiar with Bradley and First Horizon. I think AMRN is moving away from the Bradley model to the First Horizon one. Management has Elan and Wall Street experience. Product sales is growing rapidly and big brother Elan is nice to have behind you.
If they put a product into the pipline and have another solid quarter...this could get interesting.
I believe that Yahoo can only update their info if the company makes the necessary filings with the SEC, that's the "raw material" for the info displayed in Yahoo. A SEC filing for Amarin? Not easy to locate. The NASDAQ info is even more unreliable than Yahoo, in my opinion.
In any case, if you review previous press releases by Amarin, you will see that over the last year Elan has converted some notes in stock, and that Amarin has placed some 3 million shares with US investors.
So, just believe what I (and Tart) have been writing here: Amarin has nearly 10 million shares, fully diluted: almost 6 million shares "undiluted", plus some more Elan convertibles, plus a few options.
Incidentally: the US private placement was made at around $3, so there is always the risk that one of those lucky guys starts selling a few shares. Also, the Elan notes were converted at around $5. So there you have it.
