Attunity Partners with EMC to Deliver Big Data Replication for Enterprise Analytics
    Posted Jul 31, 2012 - July 31, 2012

Information availability software provider Attunity has partnered with EMC to offer a high-performance big data replication solution for the EMC Greenplum Unified Analytics Platform, as well as dedicated optimizations to Attunity Replicate from EMC Greenplum.

The movement of big data is a critical challenge, as slow or inefficient data flow can cause inaccurate analytics that can reduce a company’s bottom line. “Enterprise architects have to pay special attention to data flow. Data is their critical asset and right now enterprise architects are really challenged with a ‘data bottleneck,' ” Matt Benati, Attunity’s vice president of global marketing, tells 5 Minute Briefing. “Attunity Replicate, in partnership with EMC Greenplum, has eliminated the bottleneck.” This solution further enables companies to leverage their big data to improve decision-making and gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Available now, the joint solution from Attunity and EMC will help businesses gain advantage over competitors and drive revenue dollars and profitability. “The biggest time sink in the entire analytics process by far is data movement. If we can improve the speed there then the business can get answers faster. In today’s real-time world, that is the critical factor to drive businesses forward,” Benati explains. By removing the data bottleneck, Attunity and EMC offer companies a way to gain competitive advantage in the Big Data analytics market
