how do they promote a product that eliminates 6 injections a week when they have major data that could eliminate 28 injections a month? could be part of reason for delay. has anyone heard anything on teva`s patch? wildcard

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • What is the difference between 6 a week and 28 a month? About the same aren't they? I don't know that they need any promotion. This is not a lifestyle drug. When someone goes on hGH do they want daily injections or weekly injections that could potentially even cost less money. Fairly straight forward I would think.

      Sentiment: Hold

    • fewer injections are already great improvement. Moving into phase 3 is probably way more important than relying on the patch for drug administration.

      • now we know the answer.

Prolor got Orphan status for "once weekly" - and so, with this regimen, they will do their phase III trial and get (hopefully) an approval later. Not beewekly, not monthly.
Now they can move ahead with the phase III trial .....

It doesn't matter anymore now whether they can show efficacy with biweekly injection, as they have orphan status on adults and childen in EU and US. No other co can apply for approval, even if they demonstrate that monthly injection would be sufficient ....
