Bought this garbage years ago. Listened to all the BS posts about market share and everything else. Its too cheap to sell now so I am stuck with it. The people who run this company are losers. The technology will never go anywhere. The people who own the stock are losers (yes, I realize that includes me...the first step is admitting it). Stay away if you value your money. These people just used this as a way to scam people out of money. It sounds slick. Seems like it would make sense, but it never goes anywhere and hasn't for years. Just look at the chart.
To be fair, Cardica does seem to fail to explain the number of design iterations and length of time necessary to get their products to market. Just when you think they have it done, it's "Oh, by the way, we need to re-engineer the stapler to make it like more like what the surgeons are use to using ...and we need to get FDA approval to use a different plastic."
On the other hand, I'm sure getting a state-of-the-art medical device functional and ready for the surgery is not easy to accomplish.
