JustEnough stapler. It doesn't articulate and it uses the traditional type staple that forms a B shape when formed. Staple line length is 25 mm long versus 30 mm for the MicroCutter. Looks like a worthy competitor. Cardica should offer a bare bones version of the microCutter to compete with JustRight surgical.
I wenI to the website for info. Looks like 5mm stapler with 25mm length of staple. However I didn't notice whether there was any articulation up to 80 degrees like the microcutter exchange 30. I wonder how they accomplished it? I wonder if CRDC know of this? I wonder if there is any infringement of CRDC patent?
If anything, it appears that smaller stapling tools can be achieved using "the driver" which CRDC eliminated with staple-on-the-strip IP. That doesn't sound good. I wonder if the big two have something like this up their sleave?
