This qtr should be typical $70m in rev and .85 to .95 in earnings. The bright spot will be the bookings which should be between $95m and $105m. This could possibly be the second best booking qtr ever. It will be interesting to see how much stock they bought back. I still think they are losing bookings to other companies.
Numbers are in and they look great compared to consensus estimates. I solid beat.
The best part is the dividend is raised from .30 to .50/sh. The market is going to like this. Everyone is looking for yield.
The Company reported revenues of $54,778,000 as compared with revenues of $80,637,000 for the second quarter of fiscal year 2011, net income of $6,851,000 as compared with net income of $14,669,000 for the second quarter of fiscal year 2011, and earnings per share of $0.74 as compared with earnings per share of $1.59 for the second quarter of fiscal year 2011. These results represent a 32% decrease in revenues, 53% decrease in net income, and a $0.85 decrease in earnings per share when compared to results for the second quarter of the prior fiscal year, which remains the Company’s record quarter for revenues, net income, and earnings per share.
In accordance with the previously announced dividend program, the Company is declaring a quarterly cash dividend of $0.50 per share, payable on December 1, 2011 to the holders of record at the close of business on November 21, 2011. This dividend represents an increase of $0.20 per share over the last quarterly dividend declared of $0.30 per share of common stock.
