Christabel Williams | Visit Guest Book Christabel Williams, 91, died Sunday, November 26, 2011. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Greenville Church of God. Burial will follow in Ayden Cemetery. Christabel was born in Lenoir County on Dec. 25, 1919. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Albert 'Wolfee" Williams; son, Edward D. "Eddie" Williams; her parents, John and Cora Sanderson; and two sisters, Audrey Rouse and Tessie Daughtry. She was a member of the Greenville Church of God for over 60 years and worked part-time at the Beauty Nook. Survivors include her three sons, John Williams and wife, Peggy, of Washington, N.C., Rodney Williams and wife, Mildred, of Charlotte, and Robert Williams and wife, Mary, of Norfolk, Va.; daughter, Shirley Jones and husband, Larry, of Greenville; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and daughter-in-law, Darlene Williams. The family will receive friends tonight from 7-9 at Farmer Funeral Service-Ayden and other times at the home of Larry and Shirley Jones, 2186 Wolf Pitt Rd., Greenville.
