Some old poster names I'm seeing. I am taking another gander at ASEI. I like the low $50s area but we'll see. I need to listen to the last few CCs again. ASEI still needs to push bigger above this $200m annual revenue range. There's still a lot to like in all the numbers though. Market cap sub $500m, huh? Low float. Low debt. Strong demand for products. Good execution. Something is missing and why I've been out of this for years.
I am surprised to see some activity on this board. The market cap of ASEI is tiny - a mere $500 million. While they should be acquired by a company that desires the cash flow and stable earnings, it probably wont happen to due the poison pill Fabiano adopted years ago.
Honestly at this point I don't have a lot of faith in the company to generate shareholder returns. Compared to the S&P this has been a horrible investment over the last 10 years.
I have been waiting for asei to be taken over for several years now. Meanwhile I just love to get that annual 2.00 annual dividend. I have had the stock since 1993 on the advice of my broker. He more than earned his commission and he still is my broker.
Funny how there was no reaction to asei's earnings when they came out earlier this week but it goes up almost three dollars today on its usual very low volume.
