    what has happened to price/value?

I've owned this stock since 87 or 88, looked for
a 10 banger that never quite materialized. Oh well,
    so much for greed!

    So I've decided to donate
a portion of the stock to avoid cap gains but the
way this bad boy is going I may not have a cap gain
    problem.

Anybody in know on this board who can tell me the
upside/downside on ASE within the next 6 months. There does not
seem to be any good unbiased intelligence on this
    stock.

All counsel, even prejudiced opinions posted here
    is/are appreciated. Thanks!

    • Why has this stock taken such a recent hit?
      It
appears that management has 'leaked' bad information to
the selected outside few, without making any public
announcements. The rest of us peons will just have to wait.

    • i too have owned this stock for a long time.it
performs well when there is terrorist activity.
      get a
copy of the annual report. Atholl(former chairman) ran
the co as his private research company and nearly did
it in.Since he was bounced the company has been in a
steady positive progression and they are now very
credible. I believe that they are in the early stages of a
massive market. They are the leaders in detection systems
and they continue to enhance their products as
      evidenced by their rd investment
