    I have a feeling that HDB will be bitten by thesubprime

    crisis sooner or later......This trend is seen in the realty market in India and HDB being knee deep in the mortgage business.....This is just my thought please do your own DD...
    I am not a short or long on this stock.....

    • IMHO,

      Sub-prime will not hit India market. Also Indian reality market is really going very well. See the Indian reality IPO DLF came last month and its very successful. I have done trading in Indian Security in India and found that HDB is very strong company and is very well managed.

      • Yep. HDB is doing very well. I would not relate current american economy's state to Indian economy as one is going down and the other one is going up. India is one of the places to invest in for the next 10 to 15 years. Indian economy is growing at fastest rate of 10%GDP per year and is projected to grow that way for the next few years. if that continues this way, you will see India stock market at 50,000+ (currently i think it is at BSE:15,000). Banking, infrastructure and services are the ones that will benefit most from this growth. This is the best time to invest in India in the above sectors.
