Put $7,000 in NEOM in the late nineties. Left it alone. Today, this initial investment has morphed into exactly 170 shares with a total value of 27 cents. I own it because I was too stupid to unload this garbage way back when. I keep it to remind me of what type of management to never invest in again and I became a much better investor for doing so. Why do others own this thing? How does the company continue to exist? Sorry for the rest of you. Thanks.
Thank you for your reply. I retired ahead of schedule a while back and will be sticking with an overall more conservative portfolio going forward reinvesting dividends and speculating a bit less. I did however buy this as a pure spec play in the nineties and simply learned from the experience. I wish all of you well who trade in these shares, but I'll just need to sit this one out. Best regards.
Seems you still have more to learn. This stock was never met for holding and it has nothing to do with management. We own "this thing" to trade it. And you are still holding the bag and patting yourself on the back for doing so. Amazing.
