Vipshop Holdings Limited (VIPS) Message Board

  • stockgangster stockgangster Jan 11, 2013 9:40 AM Flag

for a billion dollar company and have only no more than 4

hard core longs on this message board is really alarming. The stock is performing amazingly well, until one day when insiders decide enough is enough and start dumping massive shares onto retail bag holders. On this kind of trading volume, it will take them about half a year to get rid of all their holdings. Meanwhile they will continue to drive this upwards to attract more retail bag holders. So far they are not very successful.

Do not short as you will be squeezed very hard and potentially become a victim of this pump and dump scheme. I see only a few insiders or hedge fund buddies talking to each other and even themselves to recruit bag holders.

    • Shouldn't worry about message boards. Do your homework and decide what your going to do. I see value here and tremendous growth, Also trading at about 10-15P/E for 014, but it must be watched. Just enjoy the ride. I am. Up over 100% in a few months.

    • gangster - do you really think a few longs/shorts - on this board are moving the stock to a billion market cap. look at analyst estimates for 2013/2014 and tell me how much EPS and revenue this company is expected to make? also alert me whenever there is a massive insider selling you see. I would really like to know when they are dumping in droves whenever that happens. thanks in advance!

P.S i don't think anybody on this board can move the stock price a cent either way long term. LOL

      • i bought a small amount at $11.23 another small lot at $13.44 and 3000 shares at $15.73 added 400 shares at $20.09. the more i read and study do do my dd the more i like about this stock, no pump here on this board do your homework and decide either way long or short. i love the longer term potential here and can see a lot of upside myself.

        Sentiment: Buy

    • Do as you will. Go long, short whatever.

This is hardly a pump and dump scheme, we don't work for heggies, but it doesn't matter, I could argue with you and your kind till the cows come home, but it would be fruitless and a total waste of time.

As time goes on I will probably post less on this VIPS message board because in due course, and it has already begun, it will become infected with people like you, as the cockroaches come out of the woodwork and like all Yahoo message boards disintegrates into hap hazard insults between longs and shorts.

Whether I post here or not, VIPS stock price will go to 30. by the end of March, 2013.

Maybe I shouldn't post anymore and lets see what happens genius.

Now as predictable we can expect an inane come back from you insulting me as a pumper, the circle of insults will continue. I can't wait for your post in reply to this, I'm sure it will intellectually stimulating and well thought out.

      All the Best.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

      • you posted this. I wonder what kind people stay up all night (you did this 2am yesterday when talking with the "other" guy) and watch the stock movement hour by hour. If you are really a hard core long and intend to hold the stock for 3 years or so as you said, why bother to stay up in the midnight and watch the stock every day? Does this serve you any purpose? What do you mean "we" don't work for heggies? Who are "we"? You smell really fishy.

BTW, I do hope stock can to much much higher.
