Yesterday marked the S&P breakthrough a high set 5yrs ago.
Lofty ground for a market that has climbed inspite of unemployment
and the uncertainty of economic recovery.
It seems to me, there are not many places to put new money to work.
Most equities are trading with rich valuations, and muted expectation.
I like Startek, because the company is an underdog. You can't
help rooting for the underdog. When an underdog gives confirmation
of a turnaround. It draws special attention. Until now, we have only
seen signs. If you excuse my metaphor. The seeds of change are
sprouting. The developing operations in Central America, and the
Philippines give SRT a world class footprint.
Startek has one of the lowest P/S and P/B in the industry, and a lot
of room to grow. This is the kind of company that new money
will find once the turnaround is confirmed.
