Other than confirming that CEO Chad Carlson is
confident of the growth tangent, and has support
of board of directors, and principal ownership.
Why should should shareholders applaud the
new acquisitition of Ideal Dialogue?
Carlson said, Ideal will improve the client experience.
"We will use Ideal Dialogue capabilities to enhance
Startek's Advantage system to differentiate our core
service, and aid in our daily execution for our clients"
Inside the deal?
I suggest the buy will also bring a diverse number
of new customers to Startek.
I also believe it was a shot across the bow to Syke.
Last year Syke Enterprises acquired Alpine Access
Syke, based in Tampa Florida, got its start in the
service industry when it bought Jones Enterprises
based in Sterling, Colorado. Syke and Startek
have always had a friendly turf war competition
with both companies roots in Greeley, Co.
Startek's recent move to buy Ideal Dialogue
which is headquartered in Lutz, Fla
(suburb of Tampa) sends a subliminal message
to Syke. We are still friendly competitors, but we
will fight for every client, and will strive to set the
standard for best customer service.
