Have you taken a look at Netopia lately? We've got a lot going on. Positioning Netopia as the service assurance solution for the next wave of broadband deployments for IPTV, VoIP and other services, we've introduced new high-performance broadband gateways and remote management software providing five-nines of carrier-class reliability for the rollout of triple-play services.
Last week at GlobalComm, we introduced an innovative new product for carriers to convert dial-up customers to DSL, Netopia's self-installing ADSL2+ Pocket Modem. This is a simple, low cost solution to help carriers assure the successful migration of the more than 19 million residential dial-up customers to higher speed, higher value broadband services with a minimum of cost and complexity.
We recently reported two high-volume CPE wins in Europe; one for IPTV, the other is a new DSL Wi-Fi customer; and the completion of three licenses for our gateway remote management OSS software, including a deployment at BellSouth. For our second quarter ended in March, revenues topped $27 million and we returned to profitability. With our share price trading above $4 since late March 2006, Netopia shares may qualify for Nasdaq listing by late July.
We've also increased the strength of our management team as Netopia competes for opportunities in the broadband market. In January, Ray Smets, a 15 year veteran at BellSouth and most recently President of Sniffer Technologies at Network Associates, became our Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. In May, Dr. Geng Lin, Director of Engineering for Cisco's Network Management Technology Group, joined us as Vice President, Application and Server Software Engineering. And in June, Christopher Thompson, a 15 year telecom product marketing and marketing strategy veteran became our Vice President of Marketing.
It's a good time to take a fresh look at Netopia. Please let me know if I can provide you with any additional information, if you would be interested in meeting with us when you are in the San Francisco Bay Area or if you would like us to schedule a time with you when we are next in your vicinity. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
I hope you take another look at Netopia. If you would like to be removed from Netopia's Investor Relations Distribution List please respond to this e-mail and we will update our records.
