    What is Westell's wisper??

Does anyone know what the Westell's WISPER number
is for 10/19? I have heard as low as .07 and as high
as .09. If it is .07 we have a chance to exceed it,
if it is .09 probably the best we could do is to
meet it. Also, is there a link to the wipser
    number?

    Thx

      Who's
is the newcomer? WSTL's coverage increased by 1
analyst. Anybody know if its Goldman Sachs since they've
been on the bid? Also note 2002 estimates: .94/share.
      Also increased...

      • The bottom of that link shows the 9 covering
        brokers:

        Covering Brokers
        Chase H&Q, Frost Securities Inc.,
Jeffries and Co., Kaufman Brothers L.P., Pennsylvania
Merchant Group Ltd., Robert W. Baird and Co. Inc.,
Robinson Humphrey Co., Stephens Inc., UBS Warburg

Looks like PENN is the newbie.

        Definitely have
seen an increased interest in our equity from GSCO
lately though. Argle_99 has called the turns perfectly
on that. My observation is that in the 1-2 week ago
period, GSCO was more aggressive with their own MM in the
bid, and capping the ask. Now they just mark a bid/ask
quote of 1000 sh set 1/4 pt apart, unless the stock has
swung more, and then they open it or don't repost for a
while. That is, not so aggressively and/or overtly
accumulating. But other MMs have taken notice. Someone got
impatient today, and lookie what happened, LOL!
