1. I hate this new message board format. It's virtually unusable.
2. Most of the posts on here lately are garbage and/or spam. It would be interesting to see some real data.
3. Although it's almost impossible to follow discussions here, it sounds like there may be one or more people having real or imaginary issues with cancelling crusines or changing reservations. In 20 years, I've never had a problem. I even had Carnival call me the other day to see when we were going to book our next cruise and to help with the reservations.
4. I do admit that there is some negative sentiment out there but it's probably an opportunity to buy rather than sell.
The fact that they are calling you to try to get you to book again is a sign that they don't have people filling cabins. As if the operational issues they have aren't enough, they are showing hubris in the face of Congressional inquiry into the company and its treatment of passengers and its abuse of government resources expended in rescuing its floundering ships.
I have no skin in this game, but if there ever were a stock that would entice me into naked shorts, I think this would be the one.
