    • Why do people always, always post..."gold is up why isn't my gold stock"...BECAUSE YOU F'in MORE-ON...Gold prices SHOULD NOT EFFECT a gold companies price! They MINE the crap! And sure when they sell it spells profits....ASSUMING they make them! Just becuase they sell 1000 oz's @ $1500 doesn't mean they make money! It costs a lot of $$$ to digg that crap up! I own KGC and it well, "was" a good company. I have mixed feelings, I will own the stock for a long time until I make $$ but whatever, I'm not retiring for 20yrs Uuuug!

Are you serious ? Now I don't think it's reasonable to think your stock should go up every single day and you see the "why is it down today" posts...however the gold price should absolutely affect the price...Look at the XAU and HUI back in the year 2000 2001...

If the product a company is producing is going up in value the company should be seeing improvement in their profits and the stock should follow...In fact the gold price does affect the price of the stock... Bad management decisions can prevent that from happening which is what KGC is currently experiencing...
