Kinross Gold Corporation Message Board

Lawsuit against Kinross is going forward.....

over the RedBack purchase and whether or not stockholders were defrauded by Tye Burt and his cronies not doing their DD as well as they told the shareholders. Maybe mrolaned200 is right and Kinross can use their extra $1B in goodwill to get rid of the lawsuit. Sad stuff when this company had such a bright future.

    • hi tr iwould not worry about the law suit .. but if redback is a bust this thing will never go up much as the other mines have problems...................take a look at ngd cash flow will double this year.. plus they have a world class project coming online called blackwater wont be till 2017 but it makes this an easy double or more .. im still not very optimistic about gold ........... good luck

Hi Chico, I might try to diversify a little into another miner such as NGD going forward, however, my major holding continues to be KGC. I like that KGC has had nothing but dark clouds around it for many months. I am hoping that there is so much negativity built into KGC already that it has some upside going forward.

Okay, I just read the story about the lawsuit going forward. How much is it going to cost KGC to settle this lawsuit, and what is the likely scenario for the stock going forward in light of this lawsuit? Any ideas, wise men and women of this board?
