Authority over talking is IMPLICIT in being in charge of shut up which is, after all, simply the absence of talking. It's like rock, paper, scissors without the scissors. Paper covers rock, talking is subordinate to shut up, entropy prevails over chaos. Talk is cheap but silence is golden. If you want to be in charge of talk, that's fine, just so long as you shut up about it.
A few individuals don't destroy the fundementals in place. How big was this division? The analyst calls are all about the getting the expenses under control. It appears that the underwriting fundamentals are in place. Miller and company have dealt with bigger issues in the past and will quickly move to remedy any small disturbance a few individuals may have caused.
Very Big...word on the street is that 4 of their Sr. Mgmt (at OBPP) team resigned on Friday...as of Monday morning they had a large chunk of their underwriters and decision makers jumped ship too. I'd watch to see what happens.
