yeah, maybe CGR is oversold, but in this market, CGR could get more oversold,
thinking that could happen very easily
my favorite gold junior of late is BRD, they are really a turn-around story
i bought a few more shares of CGR a few days ago, but might trade them and buy more shares of some other unloved stock, like CRCUF or SHVLF or MEAOF
everyone hates the miners here, very fashionable to hate the miners, these days even a lot of folks who are bullish on the metals won't touch the miners, so you got to be careful, only buy companies in this sector that can weather the storm, companies that have a strategy for dealing with depressed PM prices and rising costs
very difficult environment for gold and silver miners and explorers these days
my favorite miner by far is EXK, they got almost as much revenue as AG and much less debt
Are you considering, for current sector conditions at least, something larger than small juniors and micro-caps? Bear market can be lethal for small companies; only the strongest can survive if, God forbid, survival becomes the issue. Frankly, I don’t see any good survival candidates among small juniors and explorers (except MVG, maybe); while larger juniors, mid-tiers and majors still present some opportunities (very limited list by the way), in this regard.
Nobody is forcing you to invest here except YOU. Think rationally rather than emotionally. Get off the 'wanna make money on this one' mentality and switch to the objective 'where is the best place to put new money' mentality.
If you still don't get what I'm saying, you'll get it once the big bounce is here.
