    • Anybody care to take a guess at what Madsen will bring? Probably not that much in this environment.

      • for Madsen they might get 12 to 15 million, who knows, they might take less, they should have sold it a while ago if they wanted to get a fair price, but the management is inept

I think the company survives though, think gold will recover and think that gold represents a store of wealth beyond the Fed's reach to destroy it, at least that's my hope, right now the Fed is seen as in control, but that could change quickly

sold some EXK today and bought 25K shares of STADF, they got a healthy balance sheet, steady management, they mine 100K Au oz annually, they got a nice land package, they have a very low price to sales ratio, that stock just seemed too cheap, so early today picked up 25k shares for just under 23.5 cents per share, been in it before, in it again at a much cheaper entry

Seems like things are heating up for some of the Canadian gold juniors. I loaded up on BRD a few weeks back, and on Monday Primero announced that they are acquiring it, that caught me off guard, but like the deal, been in PPP before, gonna get back in with the takeover, which is a stock-for-stock deal, and will also get shares of the spin-off company which is being created in the deal.

There are opportunities in this sector for the nimble and intrepid, the recent price decline of PVG and subsequent recovery is an example, I got nervous and bailed too soon on that one, but that's when I loaded up in BRD, so it worked out sort of OK after all.

my favorite Canadian gold juniors are BRD, STADF, MEAOF, and CRCUF, still holding some Claude shares, not ready to add any more shares quite yet

    • This lost me a lot of money due to complete failure by management. If you buy this stock you may seeing the price going down to zero.

      • I sold at .93 a while back and watched it drop steadily. I sold because there were so many posts ciritical of management. The story was that the CEO managed with little foresight, and focused only on exploration and discovery without an adequate consideration of turning any discovery into a revenue stream. I looked further and decided this was true. Sometimes you have to look at the personalities in charge and determine if there are issues. Sorry to hear about your loss. I since made money on PPP and am currenly in PLG for a multi-year time horizon. Good management and properties and mining project in development with financing in place.

      • The sale of Madsen is good news.
IMO, it can only get better from here.
        Time to start accumulating shares.

    • IMO, we could hear more about the possible sale of Madsen in the conference call scheduled for Nov.14.
If we get confirmation, this could be a serious game changer.
