My sense is that IGT's pains are not over.. Why, AGI - Bally's/SDG. If you are not familure wtih SDG, who as purchased by Bally's; they are the company truly responsible for ticket/centralized gaming.
AND.. they have taken most of IGT's business in Washington state, Florida, California and New York.
An interesting note though... IGT is trying to regain ground in Washington by selling a back of the house system to compete with Bally..but it is too late as the rest of the 12 Casino's in the state are too invested to change. Also, Bally's is providing ALL the new games to the Washington which will account for most of the gaming revenue from that state...and others like Florida for example.
What does this mean for IGT... Like they stated - slow or no growth....and for their stock? I will leave that to the experts.
