$35 ?? really. Changing management will be a positive but the climb out may take some time. It is possible that there are serious conflicts down to the level of individual lease contracts that new management will still have to live with.
I am new shareholder.. Studied all the history on the company.. Throw the rascals out.... Its not even a close call Amazing what greed will do for people.. The courts have been inundated with behavior like the Portnoys. Enough is enough...
You're being ridiculous. NAV is only $20-24 (Stifel Nicolaus). Stock is rallying now on news Corvex & Related are initiating procedures to remove Commonwealth board, and hopeful (naive) bagholders think this could somehow happen next week. It will take 3-6 months for a court to invalidate the new bylaws *if* the litigation gets that far and *if* 66.6% of shareholders so move.
No. You say you listen to Mr. Market, but apparently you are deaf in this instance. If Corvet et al succeed, the buyout price will be in the 28-32 range. Before the dilution they valued in excess of 50. I sold some of the my shares because I like the feel of taking profits, but am still holding a couple of thousand because there isn't much downside and plenty of upside potential. Forget Stifel, they have been grinding an ax against this stock for years. They hate the Portnoys (who doesn't) and take it out on the shareholders.
Correct Esoxlucious, it boggles the mind what people will come up with that nowhere near reflects reality. So taking it a step further, after bidding $27 for $40 in value,--a 33% discount to value--what do you think Corvex/Related would bid for $24 in value?
