I said 6 months ago that if you are long NEWP, then it was a good buy below $14.50. At the current $10-11 range, this is a screaming buy IMHO. A $400+ million market cap for a company consistently producing over $600 million in sales makes no sense. NEWP has increased its sales 30% since 2010, paid off $35 million in debt in the first 6 months of this year, and announced a plan to save $15 million per year going forward. From the current PPS, shares could double in the next 12-18 months.
I'm not clear on your comment regarding CYMI. If anything, the combination of ASML and CYMI will hopefully accelerate the development of new EUV and 450mm wafer systems that will increase NEWP's sales. NEWP's managment mentioned that on their cc yesterday.
NEWP put up some pretty impressive #'s yesterday - check them out!
