Wrong again BigRich, OPT was definitely at this conference. They may not have been a sponsor but I know they were there because we met with them during the NHA conference.
As for your earlier comment about Seimens having more robust technology than OPT you DO realize that the only Wavegen installations completed to date are shore based facilities requiring massive concrete infrastructure built on the shoreline or in shallow areas where you can build the chambers from the ground or ocean bottom don't you? I'm struggling to see how this could be cost-effectively deployed on an offshore base that you seem to be focused on today.
If this is indeed a good application I submit the OPT buoys would be a much better fit for this type of installation.
Glad I'm wrong, thought if they were going they would sponsor or be mentioned. Seimans via wavegen has built the infrastucture to actually sell electricity. Maybe we can get Lockheed to take us under thier wing. Competings heads up against Seimans is not a fair fight. David versus Goliath
