Up 156% since my alert in September when OPTT was trading at $3.97/share.
I maintain a free list and periodically release new stock picks.
Read my blog post here on OPTT:
Well, in all fairness, I like to see someone that is looking for a good 'value', as that is always what I want too. The problem with PP is that he never says when to sell, or that he has sold. Oftimes, I am sure that he has sold out, but continues to tout the 'winners', even after they may have fallen way past his original rec point, and risen again. Basicly, he likes to call attention to the 'winners', and not the ones that have fallen. Of course, that is the purpose of the reannouncements, is to call attention to the original recs. I just think it would be much better to also annouce the sells, and show a verifiable track record. Making a profit in stock trading, requires BOTH a good buy and a good sell. The absence of the latter, allows one to hide behind a lousy, or ill timed former, and defeats the reason to bestow trust in any kind of ability to professionally pronounce prophetically prophetical profit. Say that 3 times, lol.
You just said it yourself "since I"ve been following him". You're a follower. You can't do your own research. But instead you rely on other people's picks. I bet you ask your dentist for a stock tip. Real investors find their own stuff. You're defending some guy whose logo is a two hands holding a penny. bwahahaha
I am not understanding your argument, how else is he supposed to get more subscribers unless he advertises his results (which are very good I have seen since I have followed him)
I understand some may consider it spam, but you seem very hostile here. There could be many people even in this stock who helped drive the price higher for shareholders like you who directly came here as a result of the Penny Profit guy..so why complain? Arent you benefiting as well?
Yes he may have been right, but it doesn't change the fact that he is spamming this forum with an advertisement for his newsletter instead of contributing valuable information. If he were bragging but also providing valuable information, I might think his newsletter sounds intriguing. But saying "hey look at me I got 156%" is something that already happened, and isn't really helping anyone on this forum except him by attracting people to his newsletter.
DEAR rallied 85% or so the next day after my alert, and QGLY rallied 111% the next day after my alert, both of which were Nasdaq top gainers that day.
OPTT was recommmended as more of a long term hold, both of the aforementioned securities were short term trading ideas (as most pennystocks are due to volatility and risk)
