    GreenWave Mendocino Wave Park

Looks like GreenWave is back with a new application to ferc.

"The proposed site has the potential of producing 100 MW of electrical power, depending on the
technology selected and spacing required, as well as physical, environmental, and regulatory
constraints determined during the feasibility studies."

    • Another GreenWave application to FERC.

GreenWave San Luis Obispo Wave Park.

"The project will utilize Wave Energy Converter (WEC) systems to transform the kinetic energy of the ocean swell into dean, renewable electricity."

    • Possible candidates:
      Pelamis
      Ocean Power Technologies
      Protean

"While the spacing assumptions of the various technologies are a given, GreenWave
believes that such technical specifications can only be established by considering all
technical and environmental implications. As an example the alongshore sediment
transport processes can be impacted by removal of energy by devices offshore.
However, the amount of energy removed from the affected coastal beaches can be
influenced by increasing the device spacing between individual units. As a result, many
of these technical determination can only be established once the associated studies have
      been completed.
In order to provide some background as to what kind of devices will be used and their
likely specifications at the target installation site, the following sections provide an
overview of three devices that we believe have commercial potential, have reached a
reasonable level of technical maturity and will have a minimal environmental impact.
Included in Attachment 1. are the device specifications of the Pelamis and OPT and Protean
Devices, for informational purposes only and provide background of what kind of device will be
considered for the deployment at the site. The attachment is by no means a statement that these
devices will be used at this site, but GreenWave expects this type of device to be suitable for the
site. Such determination however will need to be established based on the detailed information
collected during the site study phase."
