Ocean Power Technologies (OPT) ended last year with a record $8.9m (£5.5m) contract backlog, marking a successful year for the company, which recently deployed its first PB150 PowerBuoy wave energy device off the coast of Scotland.
How can they have an "order backlog" when they don't have anything to sell?
Is there really anyone out there dumb enough to order some of those useless lumps of rusty iron?
I am inclined to think not. Or, to put it more simply... WALOB!
