Quite surprised there have not been more comments on your link related to : Coal Direct Chemical Looping.
"The technology, developed by Ohio State University researchers with funding from the Department of Energy, could reduce the cost of carbon dioxide capture by more than half if implemented on a commercial scale, according to the researcher"
While it appears the technology is still being proven and may not be available for some time, it does offer some hope for those coal shareholders who have hunkered down for a multi year long winter for coal. Just imagine if one day you go out to the car, drop in a lump of coal and down the road you go!
That would make the long suffering longs here simply giddy.
dabrogg: Days ago I went online and posted on every 'coal' board about CDCL. I think we need to repeat almost daily. If you look at the end of this thread someone didn't even read (or absorb) your announcement. It needs to be said over and over to get through to folks. Thanks, Sharpei
