if you are referring to the the
"pop" after the "drop", i think that's more properly
known as a "dead cat bounce."

Besides ADIC, I'm long EMC, LGTO, VRTS and QLGC
to benefit from the storage sector. I heard an
unsubstantiated rumor about EMC trying unsuccessfully to buy
I'm begun my DD on MTIC as a possible addition to my
storage portfolio, but wondered if anyone could give me
headstart on who they compete with, what they do, where
they're heading, how they compare, etc.?
financial performance (revs and EPS) over the past 2 years
seems a bit bouncy...up, down, up, down, etc. They have
1 strong buy and 3 buys. Their market cap is tiny,
much smaller than ADIC. Unfortunately I know nothing
about their products and market
Thanks in advance!

Then I heard that Cisco states that they are
comfortable with the estimates and Cisco was up in after hour
trading. I guess we'll see on Monday. Everyone should just
remember that ADIC has run from 6 5/8 to 61 pre split. I
think ADIC is going higher but I don't think it is
going to rocket the way it was until more exciting news
For example an IBM announcement,
which we all have been waiting for or an aquisition, or
another investment, or new product developement, etc.
etc. Otherwise we will stay in a trading range, and be
more vulnurable to market swings. There was a time a
couple of months ago that ADIC was going up 2,3, and 4
points a day. It was an exciting ride, and I think it
will happen again, hopefully many times in the future.
Someone on another board said that CNBC had
broadcast that there was a rumor going around that Cisco
wasn't going to hit their numbers. This supposedly
happened just before the close and caused a quick sell-off
on the Nas.
Don't know if it's true as I
didn't actually hear the report.
