    Very Interesting tidbit

Thanks much for those additional items. I am going to throw them over in IV board as well.

Very interesting that ECA says in their ad that Deep Bossier is going to be a significant part of the 2007 ECA capital budget. They haven't said that out loud in their recent conferences so it is obvious that these recent mega wells have heated up Deep Bossier as an emerging resource play.

It is amazing to have on of th ewells producing at 40 mmcf/d almost a year after it came on line.

They said 30 mm cf/day from a well that came on line in June 2006. But they did say that was from only one zone of several potential zones. As they say - that is a LOT of gas - very prolific.

      • Margin321...thanks for keeping us up to date on the new Johnson County fields. I still have a bit of ECA left from the PCP merger days. I also hold DVN, which has a dominant position in Barnett Shale (purchased from Mitchell) in and around Tarrant County, another tight sands play requiring horizontal drilling, altho I believe that the Barnett wells are not as deep as Bossier sands. Hard to go wrong with either operation, at least in the long run. Good to find you still posting here. H_B
