During the great Energy Fiasco, NVE (SRP) picked up a couple of Gas Generation Assets.
Not clear if your addressing gas to electric conversion, or the gas market..
As I recall SRP picked up a nearly complete unit from DUKE, when they decided to exit the Nevada scene, and stay with core business..
SRP however, pre name change to NVE, sold the Reno Gas Business and the Tusc** gas pipe line.
Seems like all who have invested in co-generation plants run on gas -- did their investors and communities much economic good..
