How do you think REIT sector will develop?

I bought this REM too early... luckily some of the recent drop was already priced in, but still too early. For me this is a long term investment, so I am not too worried.

However I am willing to buy more, but not just yet. I would like to hear how do you think this business sector will develop, while FED is printing money and ruining REIT business...?

    Sentiment: Hold

    • I averaged in at 14.41. Sitting at 14.02 as of today. But I held through the drop down to the mid 13s shortly after the election.

I've been watching a lot of the mREITs lately. One of the largest ones AGNC which is in REMs portfolio declared a stable dividend. But some of the smaller ones have had dividend cuts and we still don't know what NLY's dividend will be for year end.

Some are saying the end of operation twist will let off on some of the pressure. I think things are going to remain the same though because one form of pressure was passed on to the MBS buying by the fed. I'm holding for the long term though cause I need the income and any income is better than CDs even with some capital erosion.

      Sentiment: Hold
