Just wondering if anyone is thinking about how the low crop yields this year will drive up the cost of corn and hence the cost of BEAM.
do they use GMO corns?
If BEAM was smart they would be hedging "buying corn futures" and buying it upfront before the cost increases take effect. If any case most cost increases will be passed on to the consumer
I would think they would be hedging anyway in an attempt to keep margins as high as possible, whether drought or not. They use rye too-- how are those prices fairing, anyone know?
