    Bear Raid?

At 3:15 we went from 16 to 14.5 in a flash. That low float/thin volume will kill you .

Wonder is there was a reason besides profit taking behind this?

    • I watched a XXXX movie last night, and made a HUGH pie for you guys, if there was just a way to deliver it. It's hugh and it's hot. Some day I will share all the ingrediants with you, but I can see you know the main ingrediant.
Good investing, and don't forget the food groups.

    • I like my pies hot and as far as that stock, what stock was that
      we were discussing?

    • I want some!

    • If you really want excitement, you should try some of my pot pie, which is endorsed by pebblehead on the cpq board.

This is a great stock and I think about it a lot when I am mixing up pies.

    • I like FTIC a lot but it is a new concept and I think difficult to estimate growth. I am seeing consensus estimates of 20% EPS growth over the next 2 years. This could be far greater. But I am wondering how much the Y2K litigation needs might overshadow forensic litigation needs in the next 2 years.

FTIC would need a 40% growth rate to match the earnings value of the stocks I mentioned but certain sectors, like PROG being retail, historically trade at P/E's a little above 10. I have heard lawyers can't go public so I wonder what the normal P/E would be for a firm involved in litigation.

I haven't bought any FTIC yet. I had a bid around $11 early in Febuary and the sucker decided to take off without me. Depending on market conditions I would buy back in now if it dipped below $14.

BTW I am estimating a 3 year EPS growth rate of 25% for PROG giving it a peg around .5 or so.

No analysts are covering BELF. I doubt anyone has good future growth rate figures. They are picking up their manufacturing of ADSL hardware which no doubt will be a booming business.

    • SChalice, you answered your own question. I just acquired a small position in this stock, 2K shares, as the revenues have been impressive and the outlook for litigation is ever improving and increasing.
No news on this stock, other than good news related to recent earnings. Someone took profits and if the volume was low in that last hour, prices can move dramatically, as you noted.

We shall all see, but I remain opitmistic regarding this issue.

    • Sudden drop in price certainly got my attention. No idea why -- no news I've seen that would cause it. So I saw it as opportunity to buy more.

Is float and volume so thin that a little selling would take it down that much?!
