I was only counting on $0.25 for the annual dividend. I do not necessarily take the increase as a strong sign that business is a lot better. Instead, with Walter Clark still in charge of the Board, I take the dividend increase as part of the campaign to retain his board iin preference to the Nick Swenson slate.
Although the annual dividend is higher than last year, it is still below what it was several years ago. They lowered it from 33 cents to 25 cents about 4 or 5 years ago so it is only partially reinstating the old dividend. I look at the increase as a positive sign for the stock.
