What about a Fedex buyout finally...

Been rumored for years and with fedex stock at all time high and buyouts being announced everyday these days.... Maybe the time is right. They move the fedex freight to smaller towns and they pushback the big planes with their tugs and deice them with their equipment.... It just makes sense.

    • i disagree. AirT is not unionized. FedEx is a Union shop and will not want to absorb a substantial increase in costs. I doubt they have any incentive to rock the boat.

The increase in buying activity by Swenson is probably associated with his belief that the company is undervalued and that growth opportunities are very good. He has already improved the business metrics by focusing on profit growth. Clark was able to win contracts that generated nominal profits. The USAF tow
motor contract was a perfect example. It tied up capital and added next to nothing to the bottom line.

I have confidence in Swenson and I am very excited about AirT's prospects.
