SunTrust TARP Payoff - 60 Days
I believe SunTrust will payback all TARP funds within the next 60 days and a large dividend to be issued next quarter. I will show all you STI-bashers out there!

TARP owed is 5 billio. Market cap of STI is 13 billion. STI pays 5% to gov for TARP for 5 years about 250 million dollars a year in interest, then goes to 9% which is 450 million in interest to federal govt. Hope STI gets it done. They seem like a good bank to do business with.

RDM, if your statement has some truth to it (and we will know), you are definitely an insider, probably management, (we know because of your cheerleading postings). As an insider, you should not be posting here. Information like this typically stays in the boardroom and if this is the case, you are blurping it out at the wrong place.
