The problem with DUG options are the spreads are so wide, it is nearly impossible to get out of them with out taking a loss.
If it were me i would hold on to the aprils as CNBC reported this morning that traders expect oil to hit high 80's next week as long as no other surprises come up, plus Traders expect oil to trade between 85-100, if this is true then we are that top and it can only go down.
I would sell the instant you make a profit even a small one and stick with being long the stock and then sell options agaist it.
To successfully trade options you gotta have small spreads.
This is why i rarely buy calls or puts, selling them is anouther story, but you gotta have the stock or the amount of money in your accout if you need to buy the stock due to the options.
