LNCR is way under-priced and it will go up. Here is where VectorVest values it:
"Value: Value is a measure of a stock's current worth. LNCR has a current Value of $40.55 per share. Therefore, it is undervalued compared to its Price of $23.97 per share. Value is computed from forecasted earnings per share, forecasted earnings growth, profitability, interest, and inflation rates. Value increases when earnings, earnings growth rate and profitability increase, and when interest and inflation rates decrease."
and with all of the worry by various respondents in this thread we are now up nearly 20% from the aug doom and gloom. GLTA dont let the bears keep you awake or steal your stock. LONG TERM HOLDer
....the key Amy, to his argument is the word "diversify". They are already starting to bill for something other than oxygen (its not on the competitive bid list).....you will find out soon enough...
copemufan--The only thing I am on is a long streak of winning. Learn and understand your sector before mouthing off. Yes, Lincare has previously dealt with Medicare rate reductions and came out fine. The difference with this Medicare obstacle is that Lincare WILL NOT be able to bill Medicare for home oxygen therapy in many of the MSA's. Again, I repeat this is not a rate cut this is a cancelling of contracts. Major disaster for providers and patients!! Get out of this sector now!!
Lincare does not do homefill units. Its called patient service they take pride in it. They don't set up equipment and say sorry mam. Don't call us we will call you. Oh and by the way your two portable tanks take about 45 minutes to fill. Have a good one!!
Amy you must be on something. Have you studied Lincares history for every Medicare reimbursement travesty. They always diversify and make up that loss of revenue. Its what they do, and have done for years.
Your posts have not been totally ignored. I finally sold my calls yesterday and today at a small profit. It has been almost a month since you suggested I get out but I waited until I got a small profit. Thanks!
I have posted messages before and most of you have brushed them off. If after reading this congressional testimony that was put out today you still think Lincare will be a good buy, you must have your head examined. The largest issue of concern is now not competitive bidding but a capped rental period of 13 months. Click on this link and take the time to read it!!

No reason for a secondary to drive the price lower. Book value is $9.81 so additional shares sold above that price will add to the book value. LNCR is earning over 17% on equity and, assuming they can do the same with additional equity, more shares would lead to more interest in this profitable company.
