If you want a dynamic royalty trust try a Canadian based one. I own both ERF and Vermilion. ( VEMTF ?). They are even able to own reserves outside Canada. They just aren't called royalty trusts as Canadian govt. made them change their corporate structure. And if you put them in an IRA there's no 15% Canadian tax to deal with. I also own SBR (long story).
Do not get confused between trust and MLP. The bylaws of a trust cannot be altered, the life of the trust is define in the bylaws as well. There are no limit to the creation of a trust.
MLP can be manipulate by adding properties and even having a corporation within the MLP, the case with KMP. MLP are limited to commodities only.
So research SBR trust, should find what you want in the Q2 report.
The acreage in the Trust is fixed. However, much more production from these acres is probable due to enhanced drilling techniques such as horizontal drilling and hydrofracking both in and outside shale areas. Reserve figures should reflect this trend over time.
