    • The thing that gets me about this is that it is not so much the US is running things right, it is that the countries that our currency is measured against are doing worse. It makes me think that we are going to get blindsided by some piece of news. The real question is, Does greece, spain and portugal even matter that much next to Germany?

Anyway, I agree with the $24+, but I don't know if I will be in this thing when we finally get there.

      • exactly! the dollar is the strongest currency, we broke out through the 50 WEEKLY moving avergae on $USD 79.67 the 200 weekly is 80.52, that is a long term senario, dollar up gold down

      • Nonsense,

This falling euro is unsustainable. Just do the math. German Debt to GDP for 2010 is ZERO. USA Debt to GDP is 84%.

Germany does matter as it has the highest population in Europe.

Also, what happens when we hit the debt ceiling in the USA?
Don't tell me you think people will RUN to the US dollar after that. If this happens, then I will really grow wings and fly around sqwaking like a bird (and do nothing else). Impossible.

You can clearly see what you dollar bulls have caused. My avatar face is very distressed and sad, if you look long and carefully. I am not a happy avatar face.

Everything is pointing to a further weaker USD, and nothing else.
And I mean TODAY and Tommorow, not in a few weeks.
