Everyone in the world is about to load the boat on U.S. equities. Bond yields got auctioned off at bare bone levels again which shows how irrelevant S&P has made themselves. The world is buying dollars to buy U.S. bonds and now they will be buying more dollars to bid up this market that just got annihilated. People should look at this market selloff as an opportunity of a lifetime. All previous crashes happened when market PEs were at astronomically high levels. The PE on the market right now is around 11. Commodities are all coming down with this dollar demand which is a tax cut to the entire planet so expect a surge in unexpected global GDP growth. I find it terrible judgment on CNBC's part to have a speaker on 10 minutes before the market close spewing his agenda that the market is going to selloff even more when the market is down 500 points. CNBC has become part of the problem and I'm so appreciative for Faber calling the other guy out this morning for spreading unsubstantiated nonsense on their mass forum. All you reporters should realize if people are emailing you this and that about what is happening it is after they have positioned themselves accordingly. Hold yourselves to a higher fiduciary standard please. You guys are becoming a joke.
You are late to the party with that train of thought sorry to say. People are trying to dump their physical gold on EBay like crazy these days. In exchange for what? $$$. The USD is the glue that holds the global framework in order and despite China and Russia hating our monopoly there is nothing they can do about. Our monopoly on the dollar is really a reflection of our undisputed monopoly on freedom. What good is having billions of yuan if you have to live in China to enjoy it? Same goes for rubles if you have to reside in Moscow. The USD on the otherhand. Well you can live pretty much anywhere you want and the locals will more than accept the paper. With the implied risk free rate getting a bump dollar demand will be strong for years if not decades to come now that Washington knows if they don't get it done they are out.
