As noted in the previous post on Fund ownership, over 48% of all shares are now in Fund hands. This is significantly more than the 30% some people thought, and it certainly makes for a very tight float.
Having said this, these same funds have certainly been very active grooming the stock over the past year, moving it around at will and doing their best to shake out loose shares while keeping the price artificially depressed. It's easy to see why this frustrates many people, and/or causes some confusion/questioning as to wether the stock really is that good. It is.
I've been waiting patiently for this accumulation phase to end. It's actually gone on longer than I would have otherwise thought. Has it ended? I'm not 100% sure. I think it has....the trading changed a couple of weeks ago and the usual patterns aimed at depressing the stock seems to have ended. If so, then we are now entering a new phase which should prove to be much more exciting and profitable.
I would expect the stock to begin to rise in general (Those same forces that held the stock now helping to move it up), but what I find far more intriguing is the potential on a number of fronts for explosive moves up.
