Bible contradictions...
Most people who state that the Bible is 'full of contradictions', know nothing of It's contents....There are obvious 'apparent' contradictions, and they can all be dealt with individually. What is your first example of a contradiction? Maybe you can convince me that the Bible is not inspired....or maybe you will convince yourself that it IS inspired...Many people have set out to disprove the Bible, only to become staunch believers themselves. I think it is a challenge you owe to yourself as a thinking human being...

A better test is the equality test- apply your favorite Bible mocking criterion to your own sacred cow and, if have the stomach for introspection, see how consistent and credible your own fantasies are. Try testing any competing theories and see how well they do in any area. The most relevant to mortgage industry is the nature of humans.
How many natural capitalists or communists really care about making a profit from most efficiently servicing the needs or others or just self-aggrandizment, usually through money but other forms of status too?
Do problems get fixed with self-confidence, or is false confidence, pride and ego, more of a problem? What about desire and self-affirmation? Are these distractions and traps, that limit our ability to appreciate realities that can fix medical and other conditions? Or, are these worthy of unquestioned respect as many seem to suggest?

As it goes now, people (tourists and locals) go downtown only for the following hellish reasons:
1. Drink alcohol and conduct themselves as drunkards
2. Smoke drugs in the parks, on the street corners, and at bus stops
3. Beg for money
4. Steal
5. Hang out with trashy women in the beer joints and on the street corners
6. Be homosexuals and wear the clothes of the opposite gender
7. Go to court because of their criminal activities
8. Look at "art" that is blastphemous in the eyes of our lord
9. Listen to music that idoes not praise our lord
10. Buy drugs
11. Hang around with gang members and other trash
12. Talk nasty and use the name of our lord in vain
13. Hang around at the pool halls and cat houses
14. Play cards and shoot dice (gambling) in the alleys
15. Look at naked women dancing around on stage like a bunch of old hussies
16. Use the bathroom on the sidewalks and streets
17. Ride around in cars acting obscene and blaring filthy music
18. Buying a bunch of junk to promote vanity
19. Commit adultery or fornication in the hotels
20. Going to fortune tellers and snake doctors
The things people do down there are UNCHRISTIAN! People go down there to sin deliberately and very little else! Every Christian who has ever opened a Bible knows that what people do downtown will cause our sweet Jesus to burn them in hell for eternity.
People who engage in and promote any of those behaviors are SINNERS and therefore the devil's reprobates. The law should haul all of them to jail until it all stops. If they would shut down all those restaurants, bars, hotels, arenas, cathouses, theatres, art galleries, and such, they could turn them into jail space to keep all those people locked up, there would be enough room for them all. Only Christian going-ons should be allowed down there.

It is a nice fairy tale where they are still trying to find an ounce of proof of its authenticity. Problem is, these is none.

This exception didn't prove anything. What about those Vatican priests who simply gave up in claiming the earth as more of a round mess orbiting the sun instead of a square center of the universe before the Chinese invented compass? They'd be just like Lee Stroble.

The rationale is this: An old man facing the sea, endless and bound less. But the shore-line is just right behind. It's easier to give in. Human beings have the propencity to give in. It doesn't mean anything!
