This is an intelligent group, answer me this?

Is there any other up and coming biotechs better than EXEL OR ARRY? The potential here is huge....maybe dyax or Astx? I remember back in the day I bought EXEL mid 3's and sold it to go heavy into Aezs....I knew one of the board members....what a frigin bone head move that was...just excited to be back in EXEL...this is a steal

    • ARENA (ARNA) is the one to own this year! I am moe than 50% my entire portfolio and the stret, the anaysts, the hedgefunds and the tutes all have underestimated this stock and heavily shorted as well. Retails have 55% big boys have 45%..but if history is any guide regarding ARNA..retail longs have been 100% correct and the street mafia has been 100% wrong and have doubled down with 65M shares shorted..mostly I belive naked and illegal. The marketing of its approved weight loss drug Belviq is still waiting for DEA to finalize drug scheduling ..FDA had approved the drug back in 2012 may! Once the launch is announced..the stock WILL take off and will continue to rise after EU approval and strong sales numbers (WS thinks it will be dismal and hence the heavy shorting..but they also thought it was not going to be approved at all). I am going to load up on exel, cldx, vicl, ecyt, sqnm, once the dust settles with arena!!

    • ATRS, ISIS, SNTS are all good. QCOR if you can stomach the rollercoaster. JAZZ and ONXX seem good as well.

    • AN INTELLIGENT GROUP IT AIN'T

    • I own EXEL and ARRY, both loaded with great pipeline and potential. A couple more great buys are ATRS, like ARRY, it popped last summer, but has languished for months. Many believe its next move up will start big time this week. They are low risk compared to many bio techs. Also, CYTK is coiled and ready to go, last week it made some gains on big volume, but the real breakout should come this week. I would check them out.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • My biggest holding is CRIS.... They have an IAP inhibitor that was licensed from Genentech and my personal favorite CUDC 907 which is HDAC+pan PI3K inhibitor now in Phase 1. Compare against INFI PI3K and look what that did for that stock. My latest buy is TKMR. Very small market cap with decent cash position. iRNA company.

    • CLDX has moved up over the last 4 or 5 months, but it has a lot of run way ahead. This will be a big stock and I would load up on the dips. If the overall market dips and goes "risk-off", jump in. It uses SGEN's technology and look at SGEN. After that, I would look at XOMA and PSTI. Both are pretty cheap, although I might wait to see if Xoma drops back to under $3 again. In addition to EXEL, I am big in ARRY as well (both since 2007), CLDX, moderate position in PSTI, temporarily out of XOMA and unfortunately so far big in AMRN. Play AMRN at these prices if you want a gamble. JMHO. GL

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

I have EXEL but also like IMUC. Recommended by my Oncologist boyfriend. I have been invested @ year. Also PCYC (huge) recommended (got in at 14.00) - should really move soon. At a great entry point after a pull-back. Further along and should get approval. Check it out.

      Sentiment: Hold
