Many of you may have received Steve Gersten's (ETAK's purported IR guy) mass e-mail yesterday begging shareholders to go online and vote for ValidSoft relative to its vying for a "Florin" award. Gersten's e-mail confirmed what many were already thinking.....what is this mickey-mouse Florin Award?
Obviously the Florin award is a meaningless award in a "rigged" award system, because Gersten wants anyone and everyone he can reach to vote for ValidSoft despite the facts that (1) ETAK refuses to explain or share any substantive information on how ValidSoft is really doing, how effective its products may be, how many of its products are actually up and running/generating revenues, how the product is actually performing experientially, and whether there are actually any more banks that have really signed contracts and are using ValidSoft solutions and (2) no one has any clue what the other competing products/solutions do or how they may compare - or not - to ValidSoft. What an utter joke.
As the wise Mark Twain once wrote: “It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.” Gersten should've kept his sophomoric, foul mouth shut.
Actually the Twain quote seems to apply to you much better than to Gersten.
Let's stay cool and wait for April 2 (at least give them credit for not choosing April 1.
I guess you will be posting something on this board on that date.
Well said Max. The personally disparaging remarks about Mr. Gersten and management make me sick. And accusations with no substance to back it up. I am sick of hearing that the management of a publicly traded company would outright lie. Where is the dam evidence? This is intended to scare people and drive the stock down. In Greggie boy shortie pant's words - pump pump pump. Hey Greg - who the hell are you? You are pumping in reverse to scare off people and meet your own needs either as a short or paid basher who works for a hedge fund. And I challenge you to personally come on the shareholder call, identify yourself, and ask your questions directly. No dancing around this or ignoring this pal. And that goes for the other bashers on here. And I think again, Mr. Gersten is owed an apology for the outrageous posts we are seeing here.
if you would have taken the time to read about the other companies you would have had a clue as to their products/solutions. It doesn't even sound like you know there are two awards given and one is a popularity vote. Talking about fools.
companies become winners not because of some pointless awards created by some PR agency but because they have clients buying their products and paying money for it. ETAK spends much more money than it collects from customers. That's not good. Since 5 years it burned almost $200m. What are you talking about? Who is the fool here?
All vote in awards are popularity contests - they exist everywhere. The stock77investor who has written previously on this understands the nature of validsoft and the other components of ETAK. He has never resorted to back and forth #$%$ chat like this - clearly his name has been hacked.
Imposter or not imposter but what he says is very much a fair perspective: (1) ETAK refuses to explain or share any substantive information on how ValidSoft is really doing, how effective its products may be, how many of its products are actually up and running/generating revenues, how the product is actually performing experientially, and whether there are actually any more banks that have really signed contracts and are using ValidSoft solutions and (2) no one has any clue what the other competing products/solutions do or how they may compare - or not - to ValidSoft. What an utter joke.
I agree with greg. Management never reveals any information about how any of Validsoft's security products are performing and whether banks are really adopting and using VS. I can't find the first PR or any 8k that makes mention to VS having the first bank contract.
Also, if ETAK's IR director is really sending out mass emails asking everyone to vote for VS so it'll win a Florin Tech Award, the I agree it's like Gersten is admitting that theFlorin awards is a meaningless joke.
Also, van der Velden is known to always over promise and under deliver. Visa Europe is just one example. Has anyone seen the VS press release from Dec of 2011 that predicts strong year for VS in 2011? VS hasn't announced the first bank deal since Dec of 2011. If I'm wrong, then I want to see the PR and 8-k filing. Doesn't exist.
Greggie boy shorties pants. Your spirit arises!!!! Or is it demons???? You are one piece of work. Dont you have a life? Nothing better to do than hang around this board bashing this stock? Nothing better to do all? Ah - you never answered questions about your real motives, about whether or not you are a paid basher or a short. You always evade the question. Hey, gonna have the guts to show up on the conference call to ask the management questions directly??? Or course you wont you gutless coward. We know you are a short or paid basher. We know your motives. Why dont you just get a life and shut the hell up? You are no longer amusing. You had your rear end buried in a response the other night. Just pack it in pal. I am sick to death or your totally unfounded accusations that management would risk going to jail by lying about material information? Oh - stock77 says the SEC is doing an investigation. Does he respond with facts? Is there a link available to substantiate? Does he respond when pressed for facts??? Or course not!!!! I rest my case. What a joke you guys are.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
This is all coming from the moron stockk77 who for 3 years promoted the heck out of ETAK and its stock with 100's of messages on this board. I deal with Mr Gersten and he has been nothing but staright with me and has helped me upderstand the compnay and technology. Naming him here is as childish as it gets. Maybe you should slander him next you silly little man!!!
Calling it as I see it.
Many shareholders are not aware, at least not yet, that SEC's enforcement division is commencing an investigation into ETAK's alleged violations under Sarbanes-Oxley for failing to properly disclose material information/events to shareholders and for improperly disclosing misinformation and selective information, etc. The ultimate outcome may be both unpleasant and interesting.
